Finally out of Cancun - Puerto Morelos

So many retired gringos in Puerto Morelos! The diving was OK, but a bit murky and the reef was damaged by the recent hurricanes...good coffee, though!

On the road at last

We`ve finally left the states, but only to arrive in the tourist hell hole of Cancun, Mexico. But at least we´re on our way!

Ready to hit the road

After months of getting the apartment ready for a year's sublet...(or procrastinating and doing it all in a few days...) we're almost there...we couldn't get rid of the world map with our pins in it until the bitter end, of course...











We'd planned on a relaxing last night in NYC, but we ended up packing and cleaning until 1:30am. We had to be up at 4:30am to get our first flight (JFK to SFO). We're feeling as blurry as this photo - but this is everything we're taking with us....
